Introduction:
Our client, True Botanicals, is a fast-growing, direct-to-consumer luxury clean beauty brand committed to delivering powerful, non-toxic, effective, and sustainable skincare.
When I joined the UX team, True Botanicals was already an established client of the agency. My role was to continue optimizing and elevating their digital user experience, with the broader goal of supporting business growth and customer engagement.
Opportunities & Designs Decision
1. Product Detail Page (PDP) Redesign - Reimagined the PDP to better communicate the brand’s unique value proposition by highlighting product ingredients and clinical study data that validated product efficacy.
2. Educational Product Listing Page (PLP) - Designed a more guided and educational PLP experience, helping users navigate through different products based on skin types and skincare routine. This led to more informed purchasing decisions and reduced friction in the browsing experience.
3. Homepage Personalization: Designed homepage experiences tailored to first-time vs. returning customers, creating more relevant and personalized journeys that aligned with user intent.
Results:
- 4-6% increase in conversion rate
- Higher Average Order Value (AOV)
- 2.4% decrease in PLP exit rate
